Optimisation of cutting trestles
This module* optimises the placement of glasses on the trestles at the cutting table level, which will reduce the number of trestles required for placing all the cut glasses, and by increasing the number of piles on these trestles. By reducing the total number of trestles, less handling is required at the cutting table and at the production lines. By increasing the number of piles per trestles, the wastage rate on the glass plates can be further improved.
The optimisation can swap the piles between two faces of a trestle if it allows placing more piles on this trestle, it searches for the best edge of the position of moulds and manages the maximum weight of glasses per trestle.
