Responsibilities

Product management

  • Manage the entire product lifecycle: discovery, scope definition, prioritisation, delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Translate the product strategy (defined in consultation with the product manager) into concrete and achievable initiatives.
  • Help develop the roadmap in collaboration with the product manager and ensure its implementation within the defined scope (prioritisation, breakdown and sequencing of the backlog).
  • Monitor performance indicators (adoption, satisfaction, commercial impact).

Functional analysis and delivery qualityProduct management

  • To lead, validate and review functional analyses (processes, business rules, workflows, edge cases).
  • Draft or refine user stories, acceptance criteria and non-functional requirements.
  • Validate the interfaces from a product perspective (UX/UI): functional consistency, ease of use and alignment with the product’s requirements.
  • Organise and facilitate validation processes: improvements, backlog reviews, demonstrations, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Existing and prospective customers

  • Facilitate scoping workshops: gather detailed requirements, reformulate them and prioritise them.
  • Provide support to the sales team during product demonstrations and Q&A sessions. Handle the day-to-day management of product-related issues directly with customers: understand the context, propose solutions and follow up on commitments until they are resolved.

Communication and product content

  • Create and update product communication materials: presentations, summaries and sales support tools.
  • Develop messaging that aligns with the product strategy (benefits, unique selling points, limitations, next steps).

Agile/Scrum methodologies

  • Working in Agile/Scrum: backlog management, prioritisation, planning and sprint reviews.
  • Work closely with the development teams to maximise added value and minimise misunderstandings.

Tools

  • Jira: backlog, sprints, tickets, reporting
  • Confluence: documentation, specifications, decisions, meeting minutes

Profile

Experience and skills

  • At least 5 years’ proven experience as a Product Owner (or in an equivalent role, such as a delivery-focused Product Manager or Business Analyst).
  • Excellent ability to define requirements and validate functional analyses and user flows.
  • The ability to make decisions, set priorities, say no when necessary, and stay firmly on course with the roadmap, whilst showing tact.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and a strong ability to teach and explain things clearly.
  • Confidence in conducting product demonstrations and interacting with customers, even under pressure.
  • Quality requirements: clear specifications, UX validation, acceptance criteria, end-to-end validation.

Languages

  • Fluency in French and English is required.
  • Fluency in Spanish, Italian or German is an advantage.
