Welcome Peter Dixen: A new chapter of growth at Synerglass-Soft

Summary

Key takeaways

Exciting things are happening at Synerglass Soft, and we are delighted to share one of the most important updates of the year.

We are pleased to welcome Peter Dixen, who has officially joined Synerglass Soft as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). His arrival marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter as we accelerate our mission to become one of the leading software providers in the glass industry.

A CAREER ROOTED IN THE GLASS INDUSTRY

Peter’s story is one of deep industry experience, curiosity, and passion.

Originally from Denmark and trained as a mechanical engineer, Peter began his career in the glass industry more than thirty years ago. Interestingly, he never held a traditional engineering role. Instead, he entered the world of glass manufacturing operations, starting in production planning and logistics before moving into software implementation and project management.

His career took a major leap forward when he joined Pilkington Glass (now part of the NSG Group), where he spent 13 years working on software and production improvement initiatives across processing sites in Europe. Over time, his role evolved from operations and technology to sales, marketing, and strategic leadership in glass industry software.

Today, Peter brings over 30 years of experience in the glass sector—a field he describes as particularly rewarding.

WHY SYNERGLASS-SOFT ?

What led Peter to say “yes” to Synerglass Soft?

During his initial interactions with the company, Peter closely analyzed the progress made in recent years, particularly in terms of technology and product development.

He saw a company that has built a strong technological foundation and a powerful product portfolio. He believes the next step is to translate that innovation into market growth and customer value.

And that is precisely the challenge that excited him.

A CLEAR VISION FOR GROWTH

AMBITIOUS AND ACHIEVABLE GOALS

As CRO, Peter will focus on expanding Synerglass Soft’s reach while strengthening partnerships with customers worldwide.

Rather than trying to conquer all markets at once, Peter believes in smart, targeted expansion.

His strategy? Start with regions where the company already has a presence and build from there.

Key target markets include:

  • Germany — one of the largest glass processing markets in Europe
  • Spain and Portugal
  • Italy

These markets represent significant opportunities to grow Synerglass Soft’s presence while staying aligned with the company’s strengths and resources.

Peter also brings a clear vision of what success looks like.

His objective is bold yet realistic.

This approach reflects a mindset of sustainable growth, prioritizing long-term impact over short-term gains.

A CULTURE THAT INSPIRES

Beyond strategy and numbers, what impressed Peter most about Synerglass Soft is its people.

He describes the company as a powerful combination of experience and energy—a curious, collaborative team open to innovation.

Whether exploring the possibilities of AI or building stronger partnerships with customers, Peter sees a company ready to evolve and take a leading role.

MORE THAN CUSTOMERS - TRUE PARTNERSHIPS

A principle is at the heart of Peter’s philosophy: partnership.

He believes that Synerglass Soft should not only serve its clients, but work alongside them to improve the entire industry.

THE ROAD AHEAD

The future looks bright.

With Peter joining the leadership team, Synerglass Soft is entering a phase of renewal focused on innovation, international growth, and strengthening industrial partnerships.

And Peter has a message for the industry :
